Ok, I’m tired of linking to Wowhead for all the spells that I write commonly about. And I use some abbreviations (which are used throughout the WoW world) and am tired of feeling guilty for not explaining them every single time I use them. Wouldn’t the explanation also take away the point of the abbreviation in the first place?

Anyway, I’ve compiled a list of the spells and abbreviations I use most often in my posts. If you have any questions, comments or just a need for further clarification, please let me know.

Binding Heal
BH = Binding Heal
Circle of Healing
CoH = Circle of Healing
DoT = Damage over Time, e.g. Shadow Word: Pain
FH = Flash Heal
Flash Heal
GH = Greater Heal
Greater Heal
HoT = Heal over Time, e.g. Renew
OOM = Out of Mana (sometimes pronounced as “ooom”)
PoH = Prayer of Healing
PoM = Prayer of Mending
