About
Just in case you missed it:
This blog is generally about Warcraft from the perspective of a priest. The priest may be holy or may be shadow, depending on the day and time. However, it may occasionally be from the perspective of one of my many alts. They may not be priests. They may even be evil. There will probably also be some theory crafting and some proud proclamations pertaining to progression. I may go on and on about healing in general or I might go off on a tangent and tell you about my new favorite machinima.
I’ve had a personal blog since 2004 which has been my place to write whatever I want. However, in the last year or so, I’d accrued a good many Warcraft posts. These posts were also gathering more attention as I explored more of the Warcraft blogosphere - which wasn’t something I wanted on my private blog. Hence was Holier Than Thou born, a way to keep my non-WoW friends from going insane.
Holier Than Thou refers to the fact that Av, my main, is a holy priest. It’s meant to be flippant and tongue-in-cheek - it works well as Av doesn’t really do humility well. :-P
This blog is really meant to be a place for me to put my Warcraft musings. Maybe it’ll be interesting, maybe it won’t. But it’ll be the first time I actually mean to write for an audience and I hope to do well at it. I tend to write about whatever takes my fancy: healing, instances, theory crafting, the fascinating social interactions within WoW, etc.
As it’s a public blog, though, I’m going to stick to the rule that if I wouldn’t be comfortable posting it on the guild forums, then I won’t post it here. I might be a bit more blunt and say things here that I wouldn’t say as quickly on the forums, but I’d still be ok with the guild knowing about it.
